When you list a space, we collect the property details, photos, and contact information you submit. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used, to improve the platform.

We use your information to operate OCCUPI — to connect residents with trusted listings, facilitate messaging between users, review and approve listings, and send transactional communications like listing confirmations and account updates. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Compatibility matching
The household preference information you provide is used to surface relevant listings and help hosts understand who you are. This information is shown to other users in the context of finding the right fit — for example, a host may see that a resident prefers a calm home environment. You control what you share by choosing what to include in your profile.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.
6. Third-party services
OCCUPI uses third-party services for authentication (including Google and Apple sign-in), analytics, and infrastructure. These services have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
